About Outdoor Bulkheads

Bulkhead lights for outside walls, garages, carports and passages. The range includes Synerji round and square LED bulkheads, some with selectable colour temperature, econo bulkheads with an LED module or ES lampholder, and aluminium bulkheads in plain or grid styles.

The LED bulkheads are IP65-rated for exposed walls. On fittings sold excluding the lamp, add a suitable E27/ES LED bulb. Installation by a qualified electrician.

Which bulkheads can go on an exposed outdoor wall?
The PioLED Hero (IP65, IK08) and the Synerji Round LED Bulkhead (13W/16W/20W) and Square LED Bulkhead (10W/16W/21W) are IP65-rated, and the Synerji ones are UV resistant. The Synerji 13W and 21W round CCT bulkheads are rated by the supplier for water, dust and impact resistance. Check the IP rating on each listing before fitting a bulkhead on an exposed wall.

Can I choose the colour temperature of an LED bulkhead?
Yes, on some. The PioLED Hero lets you set 3000K, 4000K or 6000K and 12W, 18W or 24W, and comes with white and black rings. The Synerji Round LED Bulkhead 13W and 21W have selectable colour temperature. The Synerji Round and Square LED bulkheads in black or grey are fixed at 4000K cool white.

Is a bulb included with the bulkhead?
It depends on the version. The ES versions of the Synerji ABS Econo and P/P Econo bulkheads are supplied without a globe, while the 14W LED module and 2×7W LED stick versions come with the light source fitted. The Synerji Oval and Round Aluminium bulkheads take an E27 lamp and the Square ABS bulkhead takes an ES lamp. Installation by a qualified electrician.

What is the difference between the plain and grid aluminium bulkheads?
The Synerji Oval and Round Aluminium bulkheads come with a plain front or a protective grid. The grid suits garages and side passages where the fitting may be bumped; the plain front gives a cleaner look at an entrance. Both come in small or large sizes and in black, white or antique brass.
