About Synerji Modules and Cover Plates

White Synerji modules and plates for building custom switch points. The range includes the 16A switch module in 1-way or 2-way, a 20A 2-pole switch module and a dimmer on/off module.

Grid plates come in 4×2 (1 to 4 levers) and 4×4 (1 to 6 levers), and blank cover plates in 4×2 or 4×4 close off unused points. Installation by a qualified electrician.

What is in the Synerji white modules and plates range?
The range covers the white Synerji 16A Switch Module in 1-way or 2-way, the 20A 2-Pole Switch Module (SYSSMD20ADP), the Dimmer On/Off Module (SYSSMDDIM), a 4×2 grid plate that takes four modules, a 4×4 grid plate in 1- to 6-lever versions, and a blank cover plate in 4×2 or 4×4.

Which grid plate do I need?
Match the plate to your wall box and the number of switches at that point. The 4×2 grid plate takes four modules and comes in 1, 2, 3 and 4 lever versions. The 4×4 grid plate comes in 1-lever to 6-lever versions, one lever per circuit, which suits entrances and open-plan rooms.

Should I choose a 1-way or 2-way switch module?
Choose the 1-way Synerji 16A Switch Module (SYSSMD16A1W) where a light is controlled from one point. Choose the 2-way version (SYSSMD16A2W) where a light is switched from two positions; 2-way modules are used in pairs, one at each end of a staircase or passage. Installation by a qualified electrician.

When is a 20A 2-pole switch module used?
The Synerji SYSSMD20ADP is a 20A double-pole switch module. A double-pole switch breaks both the live and neutral conductors, so it is typically used where an appliance circuit needs full isolation. Your electrician will confirm the rating suits the circuit and plate it is going into.

Are these modules available in colours other than white?
