What accessories do I need to install an LED strip light?
This depends on the job, but most installations use connectors (strip-to-strip, strip-to-wire, or L and T connectors for corners), mounting clips, end caps for IP65 strips, and an aluminium channel for a neat finish.
Will the clips and end caps fit my strip?
Each accessory is made for a specific strip: most clips and connectors are for 8mm strips, and there are separate versions for COB or SMD and for IP20 or IP65 strips. Check the product title against your strip before ordering.
What aluminium channel sizes are there?
Surface-mount channels in 17 × 7mm, 20 × 10mm and 50 × 35mm, and a recessed channel in 17 × 7mm, all in 3m lengths.
