A recessed aluminium downlight that takes one GU10 or MR16 lamp, for ceilings in living rooms, kitchens and passages. The white and satin aluminium versions have a tilting head, so light can be angled towards artwork, a counter or a wall; they fit a 72mm cut-out, measure 83mm across and sit just 24mm deep.

Choose white to blend into the ceiling or satin aluminium for a metallic look. The antique brass option is a fixed (non-tilting) fitting, 78mm across for a 62mm cut-out, with a warmer, classic finish. All are IP20 rated for dry indoor areas, and the lamp is sold separately. If you do not need to angle the light, the Synerji Fixed Recessed Downlight – IP20, 68mm Cut-Out, Ø79mm is the fixed option.

Good to know

Is the lamp included?

No. It takes one GU10 or MR16 lamp, bought separately; Synerji also lists the lamp holder as excluded.

What cut-out do I need?

Ø72mm for the White and Satin Alu (SYD101) versions. The Antique Brass code SYD121AB is a different, fixed Ø78mm fitting needing a Ø62mm cut-out.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor ceilings only.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It must be installed by a qualified electrician.
