The Synerji SYD47010 is a round aluminium surface-mount tilt downlight measuring 94mm across and 90mm high. It fixes directly onto the ceiling with no cut-out, and the adjustable head lets you point the light where it is needed, which makes it useful for washing a wall, lighting a picture or picking out a work surface.

It takes one lamp of up to 50W, sold separately, and is IP20 rated for dry indoor areas. The finish options are silver brush, for a metallic accent, or white, which blends into a standard painted ceiling. The range also includes the Synerji Recessed Tilt Downlight in white or silver brush.

Is the lamp included?

No. Synerji sells it excluding lamp and lamp holder; maximum lamp wattage is 50W.

Do I need to cut a hole in the ceiling?

No. It mounts on the ceiling surface, so it suits concrete slabs and ceilings without a void.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outside?

No. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor areas only.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It must be installed by a qualified electrician.
