To size a driver, multiply the strip's watts per metre by the total length and allow some headroom above that load. Installation by a qualified electrician.

What size strip light driver do I need?
Multiply the strip's watts per metre by the total length, then choose a driver rated above that load with some headroom. The Synerji IP20 driver comes in 60W, 100W, 150W, 200W and 300W, and the IP67 driver in 36W, 60W, 100W and 200W. Split a long installation across more than one driver if a single unit would be overloaded.

Which driver can I use outdoors or in damp areas?
Use the Synerji 24V Waterproof LED Strip Driver (SYSTRDR06–09). It is IP67 rated for patios, signage and damp locations, and operates from –30°C to 45°C at up to 100% relative humidity. The IP20 driver (SYSTRDR01–05) is for dry indoor spaces such as ceiling voids and cupboards.

Which strip lights do these drivers power?
Both Synerji drivers convert mains power to 24V DC for 24V SMD and COB strip lights. The IP20 driver accepts a 176–264V input and the IP67 driver 198–242V, and both have open circuit and short circuit protection. Installation by a qualified electrician.
