The Synerji 24V LED strip driver converts mains power to 24V DC to run 24V LED strip lights. Housed in aluminium and rated IP20 for dry indoor spaces such as ceiling voids and cupboards, it comes in five power ratings from 60W to 300W, with a DIP-switch dimming function and a soft start.

Choose a rating comfortably above the total wattage of the strip it will power – Synerji recommends loading each driver to about 80% of its rating, for example 48W on the 60W unit – and split a long installation across more than one driver if a single unit would be overloaded. Where the driver could be exposed to moisture, use the Synerji waterproof LED strip driver instead.

Good to know

Which size do I need?

Add up the strip wattage (W/m × metres) and leave headroom. Synerji lists the usable load of the 60W, 100W and 150W drivers as 48W, 80W and 120W.

Can I use it outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor locations. For damp or outdoor locations, use the IP67 waterproof drivers.

Can the strip be dimmed?

Synerji lists DIP-switch dimming and dimmer compatibility.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It must be installed by a qualified electrician.
